Anipedia is a quality online system accessible via a range of mobile devices using an appealing and customer-friendly format to provide current information on a broad spectrum of animal health issues. The flagship of the platform is the award-winning and internationally acclaimed three-volume book Infectious Diseases of Livestock, dealing with all the infectious diseases worldwide. The second edition is now out of print but completion of the 3rd edition is far advanced. Most chapters have already been updated or are in-process of revision by internationally recognised expert(s) (see revised/under revision chapters). Over time we are eager to establish a community of young talented contributors to Anipedia to ensure sustainability of high-quality material on subjects related to animal health. The rest of the resources include books on Plant Poisonings and Mycotoxicoses and Veterinary Helminthology and manuals related to infectious and parasitic diseases.
Particular attributes of Anipedia are that the content will be updated regularly.
The editors are eager to attract and licence groups such as students and staff of universities or colleges, research and diagnostic institutions/laboratories, as well as members of professional associations, boards or other organisations.
The Editors would very much appreciate comments or suggestions on Anipedia from users/clients (see Comments/Queries). An evaluation form (click here to evaluate) is available for different facets of the platform.
